Shipwreck Island Waterpark offers a wide variety of attractions for your enjoyment.

The waterpark hosts a few different attractions on a river.

Lazy River

For those of you that have been standing on your feet for way too long and are overworked, this attraction is perfect for you. With over 2,000 feet of the slow-moving river, you’ll finally get the relaxation your body’s been desperately calling for.

Raging Rapids

Nicknamed affectionately by park goers as “The Rapids,” twist and turn on over 300 feet of whitewater on a raft. SPOILER ALERT: There is even a 50-foot splash down leading you to the end of the river’s course.

White Knuckle River

With a 660-foot long course of twisting and winding, you’ll have quite a splash with your family on this river. Family-sized tubes are available to brace the rapids together.

family having fun in the slide

Not only does Shipwreck Island Waterpark provide various river rides, but also waterslides to enjoy with family and friends.

Pirates Plunge

Get ready to challenge a friend or sibling to the ultimate duel with these water slides. On a 60-foot tall tower, pick a worthy opponent to challenge as slides are side-by-side on this attraction.

Tree Top Drop

You’ll have two options for slides on the 65-foot tall platform at Tree Top Drop. One slide sends you through a dark tube that dips into a free fall slide that sends sliders down a rapid drop slide. The other choice on the platform is the enclosed twisting tube slide.

Zoom Flume

The Zoom Flume happens to be the waterpark’s oldest attraction. Three channels, or flumes, curve in, out and around a huge hill, leading you into the big splash pool.

Be sure to take your little tykes to these attractions at Shipwreck Island Waterpark where they’ll have fun and be safe at the same time.

Tipping Bucket

As a new addition to the park since 2011, the 750-gallon Tipping Bucket is a new fan favorite among park goers today. Making over 100 splashes a day, the waterpark’s new attraction is part of the redevelopment initiative of Skull Island, which will be renamed Pirate’s Cove soon.

Tadpole Hole

Tadpole Hole is a real treasure in its own right for children.

Housing a purple frog slide, a ship slide, an elephant slide, a pelican slide, a rope climb, a fort and a little yellow submarine known as “The Silly Sub,” your children will find animals from all over the world in just this little pool.

It’s located close to the lazy river and wave pool — the ideal locations for families with small children to enjoy the day.

Skull Island

No, this is not the same menacing Skull Island where King Kong lived.

Instead, this Skull Island is a family pool which hosts a kiddy slide called Lickity Split and a family racing slide called the Pirate’s Race. The family island features a fort with the enormous Tipping Bucket that unloads 700 gallons of water onto park guests every three or four minutes.

The Great Shipwreck

Modeled after a 17th-century sailing ship, the Great Shipwreck is a good replica of sailing ships that existed many years ago. You’ll have the chance to feel like a real pirate escaping a ship with treasure. Swing on a cable and drop into the beautiful azure blue lagoon pool to escape the baddies.

Remember this is a deep-water pool.

Hide in the deep waters to avoid being seen by the baddies.

Ocean Motion Wave Pool

Holding over 500,000 gallons of water, the Ocean Motion Wave Pool generates three-foot waves every ten minutes. You don’t need to worry about any creatures lurking in the deep at this pool. Just come out and enjoy the waves.

Kid enjoying the water

Whether you decide to bring your two-year-old daughter or bigger teenagers, you’re sure to have a blast with your family as you explore Shipwreck Island Waterpark for the first time or 100th time.

Enjoy twisting and turning on the whitewater rapids of White Knuckle or slip and slide down Pirate’s Plunge and don’t forget to catch some wicked waves at the Ocean Motion Wave Pool.

Instill in your children the love of water that your parents gave to you and make memories to last a lifetime here at Shipwreck Island Waterpark.
